The District would to thank everyone who took the time to come vote in the referendum election yesterday. The results of the election were as follows.
Yesterday the district voters approved the referendum question 1. Question 1 dealt with the long-term maintenance needs that will prolong our buildings’ usefulness for years to come and bring them up to current learning environment, safety, and accessibility standards.
-Security and Accessibility: Improvements to the school site and facilities district-wide
-Academics: Remodeling and renovation of classrooms, labs, meeting rooms, lockers and physical education rooms district-wide
-Long-Term Maintenance and Repair: HVAC, roofs, boilers, ventilation, lighting and electrical, site work: irrigation, drainage, and paving improvements
-Early Childhood Family Education and School Readiness: Building and equipping a new addition to Lincoln Elementary School for our growing community
Question 2 was defeated yesterday. The question addressed the construction and equipping of a gymnasium/community recreation addition to the high school facility.
