Parents and Community Members,

On behalf of the Board of Education and our administrative team,

I want to thank you for reviewing our Annual Report for the past school year. We are proud of our students’ accomplishments and you will see several examples of our “FLYER PRIDE” throughout this document.

We continue to work to provide an ever-improving educational pro- gram for our students. In our efforts to move to delivery of 21st Century learning opportunities, we are providing an iPad 2 to our full-time students in grades 5-12. In order to maximize the effectiveness of these remarkable tools,we provided a four-day technology academy for our teaching faculty and have additional learning opportunities for our teachers during the year.

Please consider volunteering at one of our schools this year. Per- haps you have an hour or two each week, month, school year? We wel- come your involvement at whatever level you choose. Please contact one of our building principals if you would like to volunteer in our schools.
