Early Childhood Family Education provides parents and their children (birth to kindergarten entry) an opportunity to learn and have fun together. Classes are offered at Lindbergh, Lincoln and Dr. SG Knight Elementary Schools.

A typical 2 hour, weekly class would include time for parents and children to do activities together; a time for children to separate from their parents and be in a preschool setting with an early childhood educator; and a parent discussion time where parents meet with each other to talk about common joys and concerns of raising children today.

There is an assortment of types of classes offered that will meet a variety of family needs. There are classes for infants, toddlers and preschool children; as well as classes that are geared for the entire family with children under kindergarten age.

The first session of ECFE classes begins the second week of September and runs through the middle of December. The second session begins in January and runs until April.

****Special Spring Session Offering - Parents of Multiples Monthly Group****

Who is the class for?:

Parents with twins, triplets, or other multiples from Little Falls, Pierz, Randall, Royalton, Swanville, and Upsala are welcome and encouraged to attend.

What is this class about?:

This class is sponsored by ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education) and will be facilitated by a licensed Parent Educator. Childcare will be provided for all registered children age five and younger. This class will be unique from other ECFE classes in that there will be no parent / child time. All of the session will be parent time, with highly qualified childcare for your children in an educational environment. This class is designed to be an addition to any ECFE class you are already participating in.

Together we will discuss the joys and unique challenges that come with parenting multiples.

We will share resources and ideas

We will hear from guest speakers who have parented multiples and have wisdom to share

We will talk about many of the common parenting concerns, but look at them through the “multiple” lens

Little Falls, Classroom to be determined based on age of registrants

Cost will be $20 per family

We will meet from 9:30 – 11:00am on the following Wednesdays:
