Throughout his 17 years at the radio, Corey Fink has been able to share his broadcasting skills with students of all ages who participate in Flyer Media Productions and work with them through hands-on experience to create incredible broadcasts. The students who work to put on these broadcasts deserve immense recognition for their hard work and dedication to Flyer Media Productions.
Little Falls has the privilege of having a nominee for Minnesota Teacher of the Year, Tanya Bergman. In 2023, 132 teachers were nominated, and they will soon be narrowed down to a group of 10-12 finalists. Bergman is a special education teacher at Little Falls Community Middle School. She strives to create a fun and encouraging learning environment for her students. Our school is very proud to have an amazing representation of the Little Falls educators in the running for this incredible honor!
We would like to tell you about TouchWall, our exciting new digital yearbook and information wall located by the high school auditorium and the entrance to our gym.
TouchWall features three screens showcasing the Little Falls Flyers. The center screen is interactive, providing a historical perspective of the Flyers. Quite simply, it is a digital yearbook beginning with the earliest yearbook we could find to the class of 2022.
The 11th Annual Day of Caring was bigger and better than ever! Introduced in 2011, and held every year at the start of May, the Day of Caring is an opportunity for students at Little Falls Community High School to get into the community and assist individuals with complete outdoor projects. Student teams led by school staff are joined by teams of community members to help with raking and stick removal, window washing, flower bed clean up, and more.
