On Wednesday of this week, July 15, the District will be releasing our first version of Little Falls Community Schools’ Reopening Plan for the 2020-2021 school year. The plan will focus mainly on the academic options that Little Falls Community Schools has been exploring and creating as mandated by the Minnesota Department of Education. As the Reopening Plan states, this first version is focusing on academics and what a school schedule could look like at our schools under the various reopening plans. In future weeks, the District is planning at least two major revisions to the Reopening Plan that will address many other aspects of returning students to school including:

  • Transportation
  • Food Service
  • Childcare
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Social Distancing Standards, Protocol, and Signage
  • Health Screenings / Information
  • Protecting Vulnerable Populations
  • Hygiene Practices
  • Cleaning and Materials Handling
  • Response to Suspected or Confirmed Positive Cases of COVID-19
  • Activities / Athletics / Co-Curricular
