Here is a link to Version One of Little Falls Community Schools’ Reopening Plan for the 2020-2021 school year. As directed by the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), we developed a plan that incorporates three distinct Learning Plan options to implement when we are scheduled to begin school on September 8: 1) In-Person Learning (every student in school every day); 2) Hybrid Learning (based on 50% maximum occupancy of classrooms and buildings); 3) Distance Learning. School in Little Falls is still eight weeks away from starting so this plan focuses on the academic aspect of reopening our schools. Future versions of the Reopening Plan will address the many other issues related to returning to school in the fall. Reopening Plan-3.pdf

At the end of the Reopening Plan document is a list of people’s contact information within the district. Please contact any of the people listed with your questions, concerns, thoughts, and ideas. We are very interested in hearing what you have to say. MDE is scheduled to come out with additional information related to schools reopening during the last week of July; the District will release a second version of the Reopening Plan once we learn what MDE will announce in late July.

Thank you,

Stephen Jones,
Superintendent
