Flyer Activities 2025 Spring Season - First Day Information

High School

9-12th Grade Girls Softball - Start date: Monday, March 10

  • First Day Meeting Location and Time: HS Nursing Room/Lecture Room at 3:30pm
  • Supplies Needed: Indoor and outdoor clothing (be prepared to practice in cold and warm temperatures), tennis shoes, softball glove 
  • Head Coach: Tony Couture - tcouture@lfalls.k12.mn.us

9-12th Grade Track and Field - Start date: Monday, March 10

  • First Day Meeting Location and Time: HS Commons at 3:15pm
  • Supplies Needed: Variety of clothes to store in locker (be prepared to practice in cold and warm temperatures), quality tennis shoes, track spikes are recommended (especially for sprinters)

9-12th Grade Boys Baseball (Arm Conditioning) - Start date: Monday, March 10

  • Supplies Needed: Glove, cleats, pants

9-12th Grade Boys Golf - Start date: Monday, March 17

  • First Day Meeting Location and Time: Team Room at 3:15pm 
  • Supplies Needed: Will go over on first day

Middle School

7-12th Grade Girls Golf - Start date: Monday, March 17

  • First Day Meeting Location and Time: HS Nursing Room/Lecture Room at 3:15pm
  • Supplies Needed: Will go over on first day

7-8th Grade Track and Field - Start date: Tuesday, March 25

  • First Day Meeting Location and Time: LF Middle School Commons
  • Supplies Needed: Variety of athletic clothing (be prepared to practice in cold and warm temperatures), fantastic pair of athletic shoes

7-8th Grade Baseball - Start date: Tuesday, April 1

  • First Day Meeting Location and Time: Mr. Connelly’s Classroom #202 (MS Building) at 3:15pm
  • **Will be done by 4:00pm on the first day**
  • Supplies Needed: Baseball hat, tennis shoes, cleats, long sleeve, pants, glove

  • 7th grade First Day Meeting Location and Time: Mr. Stark’s Classroom #210 (MS Building) at 3:15pm
  • 8th grade First Day Meeting Location and Time: Middle School Softball Fields (South of football stadium)
  • Supplies Needed: Indoor and outdoor clothing (be prepared to practice in cold and warm temperatures) tennis shoes, softball glove

7-8th Grade Boys Golf - Start date: Tuesday, April 1

  • First Day Meeting Location and Time: Mr. Filippi’s Classroom #204 (MS Building) at 3:30pm
  • Supplies Needed: Golf clubs, appropriate golf shirts (collared) and pants. Shirts must be tucked in and hats must be worn with bills forward.  *Be prepared to practice and compete in cold weather*
