Teaching and Learning
Little Falls Community Schools works together for each learner to achieve academic and personal growth in a collaborative, safe, and engaging environment. Our vision is to reach 100% of our students by:
- Implementing a consistent, aligned, and evidence-based academic framework to improve student outcomes.
- Implementing a consistent, aligned, and evidence-based career and college readiness plan for each student.
- Implementing a consistent, aligned, and evidence-based professional development plan.
Mutli-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) aligns with these strategies by focusing on the growth of our teaching and learning, ensuring we support both staff and students in meaningful, consistent ways.
The MTSS Handbook is a resource to guide our shared work in supporting every student. It introduces the purpose of MTSS and explains the framework our district uses to provide academic, social-emotional, and behavioral support. This framework ensures decisions are driven by data, practices are aligned and consistent, and collaboration is central to our efforts. The handbook offers clarity and direction as we pursue our vision of reaching 100% of students with the support they need to grow and succeed.
Together, these efforts reflect our mission: every learner, every day.
