Superintendent

Greetings, my name is Greg Johnson and I am proud to serve the Little Falls Community as Superintendent of Schools. I officially began my duties on July 1, 2022, and have appreciated the warm welcome I have received.

In my short time in the school district, I have learned there is much to be proud of in our school system. Little Falls Community Schools has always been a leader and innovator amongst central MN schools and focused on meeting the needs of every student in a personalized manner.

Through the use of the Modern Teacher framework, LFCS strives to align itself with best practice strategies that enhance student growth, provide meaningful learning opportunities, support staff in their important work, and engage the community.

My wife Keri and I were both born and raised in Little Falls and are proud of our hometown roots and the opportunities LFCS provided us as students. Keri and I have been married for over 30 years and have three adult daughters and three grandchildren. Keri is a fellow educator serving as an elementary principal in a nearby school district.

My professional background includes teaching sixth grade and coaching in Moorhead Public Schools. I have 18 years of experience as a principal, primarily in St. Cloud and Sartell-St. Stephen Public Schools. For the past eight years, I was the superintendent of Albany Area Schools.

I am honored to return to LFCS to ensure every child is afforded the incredible opportunity I was provided as a student in this amazing school district.
